So Porno Pete of Americans for truth anounced yesterday his disaproval of same-sex TSA pat downs from gay,lesbian, and bisexual officers.

I cant say this is surprising considering the source of the hate but man are we really having this discussion. The next thing peter is going to be saying is gay people shouldn't be in the military, or sit on the bench... Oh wait he has already been there!  

"But what about homosexual TSA agents?Isn’t it just as inappropriate for a ‘gay’ male TSA agent to pat down male travelers as it is for a normal, heterosexual male TSA agent to pat down female travelers?"


So what do you recomend? should we ask gay doctors not to do physical exams on males? should a gays not be alowed to be coaches becuase they might have to enter the locker room? This is all so obserd! Just because someone is gay does not mean they are going to act inaproperatly! Gays can do the job, GET OVER it Pete! It seems the religious extremest bigots are always the ones to fear the gay man patting them down, or checking them out. Really Pete look in the mirror and tell me who on this green earth would want to touch your coconuts! No ONE!

Washington DC- Today the department of Health and Human Services announced new rules pertaining to the gay community.

Among many changes there is now the ability for patients to designate someone IE domestic partners visitation rights. This has been a huge problem for the queer community in that hospitals chose not to respect the patients and their partners by denying visitation.

Hospitals are also unable to discriminate on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity. All hospitals that accept medicare are required to follow these new guidelines! Vertically all hospitals in the county!

Its been a while.. Here's an update.

The hate monger, School board director Clint McCance has retired. Not a moment to soon after his hateful speech was discovered on his facebook page. He was the focus of HRCs campaign calling for his resignation last month.

We have taken a sever beating in the polls. We lost the US house and have taken a beating in state elections across the country. The state of Maine's governors race came to a close in a tight race between independent and marriage equality advocate Elliot Cuttler, and equality foe Paul Lapage.  It is official the state of Maine will not see marriage equality in the next few years! Very sad indeed, Mr. Lapage is known for his out bursts of telling the president to go to hell. He also would like to roll back the human rights act for sexual orientation and gender identity in the state of Maine.

Supreme Court Judges Kicked out!

DES MOINES, Iowa, Thanks to the bigots at The National Organization for Marriage, Three good justices are out of a job.  Chief Justice Marsha Ternus and Justices David Baker and Michael Streit, were all voted out this election cycle.  The retention vote law was adopted in 1962, since its enactment no justice has been voted out. The idea that three perfectly capable justices could be kicked out over an annmus vote on same sex marriage is very sad. Just imagine if popular opinion controlled the way the judiciary rules. The idea just makes the whole idea of checks and balances seem so imposable. No judge should feel vulnerable for upholding the constitution. Just imagine the repeal of anti-misogyny laws being put to a popular vote, marriage would still be segregated racially. A scary thought indeed! Thank you NOM for messing with the very foundation that this county rests upon!
